Daniel Brantley St. Kitts & Nevis Citizenship by Investment Update

Applications from Citizens of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea) to the Citizenship by Investment Programme

29th June 2017

Here at Daniel Brantley, we have been advised by the Citizenship by Investment Unit of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis that there will be a suspension of the processing of applications from citizens of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea) effective 29th June 2017.

This decision has been made on the premise that at this point in time, the geo-political climate of North Korea does not allow for adequate background checks to be safely conducted, thus placing a strain on the quantity and reliability of information that can be obtained from such jurisdiction for the purposes of participating in the St. Kitts and Nevis economic citizenship programme.

If there are any queries regarding this update, please feel free to contact any member of the Daniel Brantley Legal Team to obtain further information.
